What i like about this video is the major focus on the artist which really empathises that it is her song. I also admire the continuous direct addressing from Beyonce which made me feel more involved and more interested with the narrative side of the video.

For this music video of Coldplay-Every teardrop is a waterfall, I like the narrative throughout the song as creates me intrigued with the unique enigma because it is not a stereotypical narrative which keeps my interesting and I hope to use this technique in part of my song .
what I dislike about this video is that they use the technique of stop motion too much which drifts the audience away from the video and the song itself.however despite this it create a unique approach to the video which a admire.

I admire the grey colour tone appearance to the video at the beginning as it really enhances the mysterious feel which fits well with the style of music.The narrative also keep me entertained through out the video which I am hoping to achieve in my own music video. The setting within this video is very authentic and suits well with the mysterious feel the song. I am also hoping to create and rely on setting to create the atmosphere and style of the song

for this video when i watched it had a comedy element which relates to some of my ideas for a music video.The fact that there is only one person performing, it creates a sense of importance on him which is vital for advertising as it allows you to focus more on promoting yourself. This is an effective technique as is an interesting and unique way of illustrating the song and its lyrics. From the pop star theory Dyer proposes that a star is an image not a real person that is constructed out of a range of materials. One of the things I dislike about the video is that there is very little narrative and the majority of the video is performance.
